During the long-term operation of the hydraulic system of the truck tailboard, the use of hydraulic oil directly affects the performance of the equipment. The determination of hydraulic oil replacement cycle should comprehensively consider the strength of tail plate use, working environment, and hydraulic system structure. It is recommended to check the condition of the hydraulic oil after about six months of operation, observe the color, viscosity, and impurities of the oil, and reasonably evaluate whether replacement is needed. Under standard operating conditions, it is recommended to replace the hydraulic oil for the truck tailboard every twelve months or when the working hours reach the specified hours in the equipment manual.

The replacement cycle of hydraulic oil should be appropriately advanced for heavy loads, frequent use, or harsh working conditions. Hydraulic oil may undergo oxidation, emulsification, and contamination during use, leading to a decrease in oil performance. The decrease in viscosity and increase in impurities of hydraulic oil can lead to abnormal lifting and lowering of the tail plate, unstable operation, and increased wear of the hydraulic pump. If hydraulic oil is not replaced for a long time, it may cause internal corrosion, valve body jamming, and aging of seals in the hydraulic system, affecting the overall stability of equipment operation. When replacing hydraulic oil, the hydraulic oil tank, oil pipe, oil filter, and hydraulic cylinder sealing should be checked synchronously to ensure the cleanliness of the system inside. When replacing hydraulic oil, the oil type that matches the tailboard system should be used to prevent system failures caused by incompatible oil.

After replacing the hydraulic oil, the hydraulic system should be started repeatedly to lift and lower, eliminate air, and ensure smooth operation of the hydraulic circuit. Regularly check the oil level during the use of hydraulic oil to prevent insufficient hydraulic oil from causing dry grinding of the pump body. The quality management and regular replacement of hydraulic oil are of great significance for ensuring the operation of truck tailboards. Scientifically formulating a hydraulic oil replacement plan can effectively extend the service life of equipment and reduce the risk of failure.
